THE PLOT

the oldest son of the house of volsung has just been assasinated.
the house of skyld has been accused of carrying out this crime. as
arguably the two most powerful and oldest houses in vanngard clan
after clan has pledged their support to either side in even numbers.
as tension builds between the two sides and old grudges and feuds
are remembered between the combatants it seems all but inevitable
that all of vanngard will be plunged into a terrible and bloody war.
in the center of the continent, the last batch of neutrality is the
university. in an atmosphere of palpable tension, students attend to
their studies under mounting pressures of conflicting loyalties, strained
friendships, fear for their lives, and anticipation of events to come.
